Their architecture, too, is worth marveling at. Spend the evening at the Fort Kochi Beach, taking a stroll along the walkway and watching the fishermen operate Kochi’s iconic Chinese Fishing Nets. DAY 2: COCHIN- SIGHT SEEING-[Breakfast & Dinner]
After Breakfast, set out to explore a different face of the city. The second day is dedicated to the Fort Kochi – Mattancherry side, which reeks of a yesteryear charm, with all the palaces-turned-museums, places of worships, an eclectic lifestyle, etc. The palaces were built and renovated by the Portuguese, Dutch or British in their native architecture, as well as Kerala style. The Paradesi Synagogue in Jew Town, built by the Spanish-speaking Jews, is one of the oldest, active synagogues in the Commonwealth of Nations.
